Los habitos en los Jugadores de US
Es bastante interesante este articulo en donde se intenta hacer una radiografía de la "población" de jugadores en US, lástima que no haya encontrado nada así para España... pero bueno al menos sirve para hacerse una idea.
Hago un resumen de lo que me ha parecido más interesante:
- 59% of US gamers own a PS2
- 33% of US gamers own an Xbox
- 30% of US gamers own a GameCube
- 15% of active gamers own an Xbox 360
- 7% of active gamers owned more than one console or handheld in 2005
- 16% of active gamers owned more than one console or handheld in 2006 to date (increase spurred by PSP and DS, which offer distinct gameplay experiences, according to Nielsen.)
- Purchased four games on average in the last six months
- 90% of games bought at retail in the last six months
- 10% of games bought online in the last six months
- Spent US$58 per month on "entertainment"
- 56% play online
- 64% of online gamers are women
- 64% of active gamers play on PC
- 15 million (13% of active gamers) over 45 years of age
- 2 : 1 ratio of men to women in overall gaming (not just "active" category)
